I received my PhD and Master degrees from the University of Nottingham in UK. Earlier, I received Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies, Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Computing, and Bachelor of Arts in Business.
I teach courses in organization theory and strategy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Damascus University. Previously I taught leadership skills, business case studies, strategy, and strategic marketing, managerial economics at the Higher Institute for Business Administration, and at the Syrian Virtual University.
I am a member of the editorial board of several academic journals published by Emerald and Elsevier and other three international academic journals in the field of business and education. I contributed as author and reviewer to many international academic journals.
Prior to return to Syria in 2006, I was appointed as Quantitative Institutional Researcher at the University of Glamorgan in Wales. In December 2012, I was appointed as CBRL Visiting Research Fellow in the field of Higher Education in the Arab Region at the University of Kassel in Germany. In 2007, I worked as consultant for the UNDP in Syria. Since February 2007, I am the director for an EU funded Programme "Tempus Programme", a trans European mobility programme for modernising the higher education in the partner countries including Syria. Within this programme, I organized and was involved in several Tempus and other EU projects' conferences, workshops and seminars. From January 2014. I was appointed by the European Commission as the director of the new programme Erasmus+ until 2020. I contributed to several voluntary jobs to the Ministry of Higher Education in Syria including mainly the issues of admission policy in the sector. In 2009 and 2010, I was the Coordinator and team member for the Fact Finding Mission of the Syria Oxford Leadership Programme of Said Business School at Oxford University and Said Foundation to Syria.

I graduated from the English Department, Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences at Damascus University in 2003. Upon graduation, I worked at Tanweer Company as an Executive Secretary and as a Translator for some movies and TV series.
I joint Syria National Tempus office as an Executive Secretary in October 2004, then as Communication Officer in July 2005.
From January 2014, I assist the director in implementing and promoting for the new programme Erasmus+.
I like classic music, reading and traveling.

I graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University in 1997, and worked as Financial & Administrative Officer for several organizations and companies (international and regional) in Syria. I have joint the office as a Financial Officer in 2004.
